Effective Date: June 18, 2026
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how Brilliant Impact Health Consulting handles cancellations, rescheduling, deposits, payments, and refunds for consulting services, workshops, trainings, and related services.
Specific payment, cancellation, and refund terms may also be included in individual proposals, invoices, service agreements, or contracts. If there is a conflict between this policy and a signed agreement, the signed agreement will control.
Initial discovery calls may be offered at no cost. If you need to reschedule a discovery call, please provide as much notice as possible.
Brilliant Impact Health Consulting reserves the right to cancel or reschedule discovery calls due to availability, scheduling conflicts, emergencies, or business needs.
Consulting services may include program planning, evaluation, reporting, grant readiness, training material development, operations support, meeting facilitation, community engagement strategy, and related services.
All consulting fees, payment schedules, deliverables, and timelines will be outlined in a written proposal, invoice, or service agreement before work begins.
Some services may require a deposit or retainer before work begins.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, deposits and retainers are non-refundable once work has started, time has been reserved, or project planning has begun.
Deposits may be applied toward the total project cost as outlined in the proposal or agreement.
Clients should provide written notice as soon as possible if they need to cancel a project, meeting, training, or consulting session.
Depending on the timing of the cancellation and the amount of work already completed, the client may be responsible for:
Completed work
Time already spent on planning, preparation, research, or communication
Non-refundable deposits or retainers
Expenses already incurred
Administrative or cancellation fees outlined in the agreement
Meetings, consulting sessions, workshops, and trainings may be rescheduled based on availability.
We ask that clients provide at least 48 hours’ notice when requesting to reschedule a meeting or consulting session.
For workshops, trainings, or larger events, we ask that clients provide at least 7 business days’ notice when possible.
If a client does not attend a scheduled paid session, training, consultation, or meeting without notice, the session may be considered completed and may not be eligible for a refund.
Refunds are not guaranteed and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Completed services, delivered work products, consultation time, workshops, trainings, digital materials, customized documents, and completed project phases are generally non-refundable.
If a refund is approved, it may be reduced by payment processing fees, administrative costs, completed work, or other expenses already incurred.
For paid workshops or trainings, cancellation and refund terms will be included in the event registration, invoice, or agreement.
Unless otherwise stated, registration fees may be refundable only if cancellation is received within the stated cancellation window.
Brilliant Impact Health Consulting may offer a credit toward a future training or service instead of a refund when appropriate.
Brilliant Impact Health Consulting may cancel or reschedule services due to emergencies, illness, scheduling conflicts, nonpayment, lack of required information, client non-responsiveness, or other business needs.
If we cancel a paid service before work begins and no replacement date is agreed upon, the client may receive a refund for services not yet provided.
Work may be paused or delayed if payment is not received by the due date listed on the invoice or agreement.
Brilliant Impact Health Consulting reserves the right to withhold final deliverables until outstanding balances are paid.
For larger projects, termination terms will be outlined in the client agreement. If a project is ended early, the client is responsible for payment for all work completed, time spent, and expenses incurred up to the termination date.
